We are an insurance-friendly practice. While we are an out of network (OON) provider, we help clients utilize their out of network benefits. We understand the cost of therapy can limit access. Therefore, we’ve partnered with Mentaya to help you access your Out of Network benefits.
Mentaya is a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. This service will be provided at no cost to you.
Contact Us @info@samahapsychology.com if you’d like to check your OON benefits.
Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.

There are some benefits to private pay psychology services. Taking private pay clients allows me to limit the number of individuals I serve at a time. My services include: review of outside records, individualized treatment planning, relevant diagnostic assessments, and letter-writing upon request. Many practitioners charge additional fees for diagnostic letter requests. By providing private pay services, confidentiality is gaurunteed. Many families, especially connected with the military, are concerned about the ramifications of mental health diagnoses. All information gathered in my practice will be confidential. This excludes all information that I am mandated by law to report (e.g., child abuse). This also excludes information that you choose to provide to others (medical doctors, school personnel, insurance company, etc).

Research supports the use of telehealth, and clients and their families find it particularly convenient! Psychotherapy for younger children is largely conducted through work with the parents. Your young child can play comfortably at home while we privately discuss them. And many teens are more comfortable with telehealth than in-person therapy.
As a busy mom herself, Dr. Hannah understands the value of your time. If you are concerned, we recommend completing the free consultation to determine your comfortability. Most people like it more than they expected! -
